Friday 25th September All day Non-uniform day for Hassocks Goes Gold
Wednesday 30th September a.m. Individual child photographs - please send your child(ren) into school wearing full school uniform including a jumper or cardigan
Thursday 1st October a.m. Flu nasal spray vaccination (for children whose parents have consented)
Thursday 8th October 9 a.m. Reception ‘6 week in’ meeting for parents in the school hall
w/c 12th October   Donations invited in school for the local food bank – further details to follow
Friday 23rd October All day  Non-uniform day
Monday 26th to Friday 30th October   HALF TERM – school closed to all pupils
Monday 2nd November   INSET day - school closed for all children
Tuesday 3rd November   School re-opens for all children
Wednesday 4th November 3.20 – 6.20 p.m. Face-to-face Parent Consultation meetings for all year groups. Booking emails to be sent to parents w/c 19th October

Friday 6th November All day Whole school Diwali celebrations. Year 2 invited to wear colourful clothing into school

Friday 20th November All day Year 2 trip to Herstmonceux Science Observatory - details TBC closer to the date
Friday 20th November All day Odd Socks Day – children invited to come to school wearing odd socks in support of anti-bullying week
Friday 27th November All day Year 1 Kingdoms, Castles and Crowns Day – children invited to come to school dressed as a princess, king, queen, knight or dragon
Friday 27th November All day Year 2 Space Day – children invited to come dressed up in space themed clothes. Further info to follow
Monday 25th November 9.15 a.m. Reception & Year 1parent/carer Phonics meeting in school hall
Tuesday 1st  December p.m. Last Choi of the term for those Year 2 children attending
Friday 4th December From 4 p.m. Light Up Hassocks
Tuesday 8th December 9.45 a.m.

Year 2: 1st Christmas Carol Concert at the United Reform Church. Parents from Holly and Oak classes

(Oak class parents can choose which performance to attend)
Tuesday 8th December 9.30 a.m.

Reception: 1st Christmas performance in the School Hall. Parents from Beech and Willow classes

(Willow class parents can choose which performance to attend)
Wednesday 9th December 2.15 p.m.

Year 2: 2nd Christmas Carol Concert at the United Reform Church. Parents from Elm and Oak classes

(Oak class parents can choose which performance to attend)
Thursday 10th December 9.30 a.m.

Reception: 2nd Christmas performance in the School Hall. Parents from Cherry and Willow classes

(Willow class parents can choose which performance to attend)
w/c 14th December a.m. or p.m. Reception locality walks taking place throughout the week
Thursday 17th December Lunchtime Whole school Christmas lunch – children invited to wear uniform but with a Christmas jumper
Friday 18th December All day Last day of Autumn term – non uniform day
Monday 21st December to Friday 1st January
