Our values are attributes or behaviours that we want to help everybody at Hassocks Infant School to develop during their time at the school.

We believe that these behaviours will help our children to become better lifelong learners. We have three core values which guide everything that we do at Hassocks Infant School:

• Be Safe
• Be Ready
• Be Respectful

Our three values are also our golden rules for behaviour at Hassocks Infant School. Please refer to our Behaviour Policy for further information.

Each half term, we have a whole school focus on one of our values. Each value is introduced in an assembly and they are referred to throughout everything that we do. Our “Hassocks Heroes” help the children to remember our values:

      Ready Rex

   Respectful Rabbit

Safe Spike

Every Friday, one child from each class is chosen to receive a “Hassocks Heroes” award and a special certificate is presented to share with parents and carers.
